Distracted driving victim pleads with texters to put cellphones away

John Boden was out for a Sunday drive eight years ago when a vehicle veered into his lane and crashed into his car head on.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl, was texting and driving.

John, left an incomplete quadriplegic, returned Thursday to the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital to speak to physicians, staff, and patients on the importance of preventing distracted driving.

In the video, Boden talks about his efforts to get people to put their cellphones away.
